Sports for Nature (with Jana Janotova, IUCN)
Jana Janotova, is Engagement Officer for Sports for Nature at the IUCN. She is responsible for building and managing relations with and between the wider sports and nature conservation communities and helping develop sports’ capacity to champion nature and contribute to its protection and restoration. Jana came into the role with rich sustainability and sports experience, having worked on sustainability strategies, public affairs and diplomacy in the Olympic movement for the last decade. Sports for Nature is a joint initiative with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the International Olympic Committee, the United Nations Environment Programme, the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity and Sails of Change.
