S2E14: Wild Vulnerability with Shoshana Bean

Shoshana Bean is an actress, singer and songwriter who brings her soul to the stage. She has performed alongside worldwide sensations like Ariana Grande and David Foster, and her solo albums have topped iTunes R&B and Blues charts in the U.S. and U.K. Her fourth album, "Spectrum," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Jazz charts. A veteran of the Broadway stage, Shoshana made her debut in the original cast of HAIRSPRAY and starring as the first replacement Elphaba in WICKED. She is currently originating the role of "Susan Young" in the musical adaptation of Billy Crystal's MR. SATURDAY NIGHT. In this episode, Shoshana compares originating a character versus replacing a role in a Broadway show, examines her ownership and pride of her Judaism through working with a mostly Jewish cast, and what it's like to live with Harvey Fierstein as the voice inside your head.
