Benefits of Liquidity (low bid ask spread)
Liquid markets are less expensive. Trading a market that has a 10 tick spread versus a 1 tick spread means taking on 10 times the risk versus only 1 tenth. In other words, a ten tick move can bring your trading decision to break-even or a 1 tick move can do the same. How many ticks do you want that to be?
