Episode 38: Dave Guerrieri on Dungeons & Dragons
Hello everyone. Justin Vacula here. You're listening to the Stoic Philosophy Podcast - practical wisdom for everyday life. Today's episode features special guest Dave Guererri who will talk with me about parallels between Stoic Philosophy and Dungeons & Dragons – lessons we can learn from gaming, benefits of social interaction, and the value of worthwhile entertainment. Dave Guerrieri is a retired technology education teacher, golfer, and gamer married to wife Linda, with a step-daughter, step-son-in-law, and a grandson. He spends way too much time doing things other than gaming. Dave has been playing D&D and Greyhawk since the summer of 1980 and became involved with the Role Playing Game Association's Living Greyhawk game in 1999-2000 as prime minister of the Regulators, one of the premiere gaming groups of LG. He was a Keoland triad member from 2005 until the end of the campaign, and a Living Forgotten Realms admin for a time as well. He's the founder and administrator of Greyhawk Reborn - the longest running 5th edition D&D living campaign.
