Rita had an image of what treatment was going to look like, and she was sure that she wasn’t going to fit in. She was wrong. When she finally took a risk on being herself, she began feeling at home and laughing harder than she had for a long time. She talks with us about her transition in her relationship with MARR from patient to alumni volunteer to staff member.
