Why Record a Series of Podcasts about the World Cup?
So, why record podcasts about your World Cup experiences, or in this case my experiences? I believed I saw a story taking shape in the events leading up to the World Cup. I saw a storyline of drama that ran through daily life and conversation. I thought I saw a way to record that story by relating my personal experiences. I had the chance to talk about Reality and Expectations, Community, and the power of the World Cup, and soccer, to reach across generational, institutional, political, and class divides.
