Helion, a 12-year-old company based in Everett, WA, that is developing a fusion energy generator designed to produce electricity through nuclear fusion, raised a $425 million Series F round at a $5.2 billion valuation. Investors included Lightspeed Venture Partners, SoftBank, and an unnamed university endowment as well as previous investors Sam Altman, Capricorn Investment Group, Mithril Capital, Dustin Moskovitz, and Nucor.
