Skild AI, a two-year-old startup based in Pittsburgh, PA, that is developing a scalable foundation model for robotics, aiming to create a general-purpose "brain" that enables robots to perform tasks with agility, dexterity, and safety in human interactions, is reportedly negotiating with SoftBank over a $500 million investment at a $4 billion valuation, a steep increase from the $1.5 billion valuation it secured last July.
