Will Forte (The Balcony Series)

This is a BIG one Boppers and Goblins. Comedy Legend, Will Forte, joins us for the continuing Balcony Series!
You’ll know him from Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, American Dad, Bob’s Burgers, The Last Man on Earth and as the title character in his own creation, one of the FUNNIEST comedies ever, MacGruber.

Will comes for the Marshall Rug’s ads, Goblin mischief and Snaps, but stays for the costume changes and not so PG edits (poop).
Rick met Will on the set of their Netflix film, A Futile And Stupid Gesture, and they discuss taking their mom’s to Disneyland together, the logistics of Standards & Practices on set, and how to feed the birds with your own urine.

Will details how he's never laughed and broken character when filming, and what it's like to see the great Bill Hader and Will Ferrell break. He attempts to give Rick a gift which feels somewhat like the tables turning on Rick’s own ongoing Justin Timberlake Book Gifting bit! And we are again blessed with Rick’s singing talents (kind of).

The two bond over OCD rituals, accepting their quirks as part of being comedy professionals, and how they both manage to navigate their idiosyncrasies in conversation and life.

Rick expresses being such a fan of Will and the dynamics of being a fan of your own friend. Will then turns into Bacon. #BaconMeExcited #MacGruber

Om Podcasten

Hi, I'm Rick Glassman, and I'm a goofy guy and a cute boy. As a kid, I had debilitating OCD. I still have a lot of “things.” The title of my podcast “Take Your Shoes Off” is a microcosm of my need for control and order in a world that... keeps their shoes on. I created this podcast to showcase a more serious side, as I have conversations with some of the funniest and most interesting people in the world. I’ve learned the language of comedy in an attempt to survive this shoes-on world, so of course there will be some goofs and spoofs, but think of this podcast as you being a fly on the wall, as opposed to being an audience member in a theatre. Please, take your shoes off, and enjoy!
