Episode 23 - Professional Rugby Union Experiences with Chris Jenkins

This week we are joined by Chris Jenkins on The Student Physio Podcast. Chris is a well established physiotherapist from the Rugby Union scene having qualified back in 2002. We reflect upon Chris’ early days as a physiotherapist within the NHS and discuss how he progressed into professional sport. Chris offers his tips and advice for students seeking opportunities within pro rugby and highlights some of the mistakes he made along the way.  Later in the episode we discuss the ever relevant topic of concussion. Below is a link to an article recommended by Chris on the multifaceted assessment of concussion: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31133539/  We hope you enjoy this episode and as ever welcome your feedback!
