The scriptures teach ways to judge in the midst of diverse opinions. 23:51 – Jesus teaches His Father’s doctrine in the temple using symbolic themes of light and darkness. Scholars believe that the writing style of John’s gospel suggests it was written after 70 AD. 32:04 – Jesus offers the gift of living water to all those who seek Him, likely within the context of the water drawing ceremony at the temple. 35:20 – The woman taken in adultery is brought before Christ. Jesus replied to her accusers, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” 42:06 – Many scholars see evidence that the passage of John 8.1-11 may have been a later addition, possibly after the earliest manuscripts were produced. In John 8.58, Jesus boldly asserts His Messianic identity and declares, “Before Abraham was, I Am.” The symbolic themes of light and bread are emblematic of the temple. 49:29 – Jesus heals a man born blind. He teaches about spiritual blindness. 59:44 – Jesus is the Good Shepherd. 1:11:59 – Jesus proclaims that He is the Son of God and asserts His divine identity. He is accused of blasphemy. 1:16:09 – Jesus promises to visit other sheep. → Apple Podcasts → Google Podcasts → Spotify → Amazon Music → Stitcher → Facebook → YouTube
