Peter is freed from prison by an angel. We should avoid comparing our trials to other people’s mercies. 23:10 – Christian tradition relates that many of the apostles were martyred. 32:39 – Paul and Barnabas are called to missionary service. 40:28 – The apostles meet at the Jerusalem Conference and conclude that Gentiles can be baptized without circumcision.
