Arsenal's Christmas No.1; Spurs Snatch Victory From The Jaws Of Defeat & Heartache For The Red Roses!
Arsenal will be top of the Premier League table at Christmas after they brushed aside Wolves 2-0, and Manchester City suffered a shock 2-1 home defeat to Brentford in the day's early kick-off. City boss Pep Guardiola admitted the better side won the game, whilst Thomas Frank was jubilant that Brentford's first away win of the season came at the Etihad Stadium. Elsewhere, the former Spurs midfielder Jamie O'Hara rants about the current side, that's despite them beating Leeds 4-3 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Spurs boss Antonio Conte admitted other sides are better placed than them at the moment due to the time they've had together. England fly-half Marcus Smith says their convincing win over Japan hopefully made up for their defeat to Argentina last week in the Autumn Nations Series, and the Red Roses captain Sarah Hunter believes Women's Sport will only continue to grow, but also said sport is cruel after a narrow 34-31 defeat to New Zealand in the World Cup final. England captain Jos Buttler has admitted he has allowed himself to dream of lifting the T20 World Cup trophy ahead of this morning's final against Pakistan in Melbourne. Hosted on Acast.
