Mike Emanuel is the Chief Washington Correspondent for Fox News Channel, joining the network in 1997 as a Los Angeles-based correspondent and also currently serves as a co-anchor of Fox News Live. He has contributed to and covered major moments in history, including FNC’s 2022 Midterm Election coverage, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine where he helmed overnight special coverage, reported live from the Capitol during the Jan 6th riots, and covered both the House and Senate proceedings surrounding both impeachments of President Donald Trump. Mike in his role has reported on key congressional races, the IRS scandal, attacks, confirmations, President Obama’s 2015 State of the Union address, and many other events both nationally and internationally. Before joining FNC, Emanuel worked for KCAL-TV (CBS 9), a local independent station in Los Angeles, CA, where he covered breaking news. Prior to that, he covered local and state politics for KMID-TV (ABC 2) in Midland, Texas, KCEN-TV (NBC 6) in Waco, Texas and KTBC-TV (FOX 7) in Austin, Texas. A born Jersey boy, Mike earned his bachelor's degree in Communication at Rutgers where he also announced play-by-play sports for Rutgers Athletics on WRSU-FM.
