Was Vinales' 140mph Brake Failure Avoidable?

Autosport International Editor Lewis Duncan and by Motorsport.com’s Global MotoGP Editor Oriol Puigdemont look back at another eventful race. Maverick Vinales threw himself from his Yahama at 140mph when his brake exploded at turn 1 as he began lap 17. After race we learned that his brakes were fading from lap 4, which caused some: was continuing to race an unnecessary risk to other riders? Brembo brought a new material to the Styrian GP but Vinales opted against running it. Did Vinales do anything wrong? Or should he have made a different decision?
