Lala Kent on The ‘Wrong’ Turns That Led Her Here

I’ve admittedly been a die-hard fan of Vanderpump Rules since the first episode in 2013, so getting to interview Lala Kent was a dreammmmm come true.  She’s known as the spitfire, no bullshit, realest of the real, and someone you can’t help but relate to and love. She is a self-titled pop-off and can go toe-to-toe with the best of them but beyond her tough exterior she is extremely sensitive, empathetic, deep, and loving. We got into some very real stuff and I’m even more obsessed with her than I was before. Lala opened up to me about her sobriety and the moment she decided to take her life back and give up alcohol for good. We talked about grief, motherhood, therapy, and the ways in which she’s changed since she first started at SUR at 23.  Of courseeee we talked about what to expect from this upcoming season of Vanderpump Rules (!!). If you’re a Bravo fan like I am, you probably assume you know everything about her but let me assure you--she shared parts of herself we haven’t heard before, and I never wanted this conversation to end. As always, I hope you feel validated and seen by something said in this episode. And I hope it gives you language, empathy, and comfort in your own struggle.  For more podcast info and to continue the conversation follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jadeiovine/ Executive Producer Nick Stumpf Produced by Catherine Law Edited and Engineered by Brandon Dickert Hosted on Acast.
