Kim and Chris are back at Tennis Weekly HQ to catch up on the third round of the Australian Open, which saw Britain’s Emma Raducanu demolished by Iga Swiatek for the loss of just one game, Novak Djokovic fight through sickness to dispatch Tomas Machac in straight sets, and GEMS life duo Gael Monfils and Elina Svitolina upsetting the fourth seeds to make the second week at Melbourne Park.Meanwhile, Jack Draper lives to fight another day (against Carlos Alcaraz) with a third 5 set win in a row, this time against Australian Alexander Vukic. American Next Gen stars Alex Michelsen and Learner Tien are also through to the second week for the first time in their careers, and Jessica Pegula laments the speed of the court in her surprise loss to Olga Danilovic.
