TRL 091: From CNBC Reporter to Digital Nomad with Uptin Saiidi

Today on the podcast I joined by Uptin Saiidi. Uptin launched the digital video team for CNBC International and while there produced reports amassing millions of views online. One of those segments focused on the digital nomad movement in Bali, Indonesia, and to date that video has over 11 million views across YouTube and Facebook and after that video, Uptin found himself slowly becoming a digital nomad himself. During this interview, Uptin and I got to discuss the background of how his now-famous digital nomad piece came to be, why he decided to become a digital nomad, how he convinced a large corporation like CNBC to let him do that, and what his experience transitioning from employee to an entrepreneur and content creator has been like and what advice he would give to other people making the same transition.
