0023 Interview Matt Bunnell
What if James Bond was truly working for Universal Exports, traveling the world and tweeting about his life? This is the basis for the Twitter account @JB_Univex, run by Matt Bunnell who went through all the Ian Fleming stories, added a chronology and sent messages into the world along with pictures and current affairs. Intrigued by this concept, Don contacted Matt and found out he also runs the blog Bond Maps and he has created a Google Map containing more than a thousand pins from the Fleming novels. Luckily Matt was up for a chat and Don questioned Matt on the chronology of James Bond, retracing the journeys Bond makes, and the locations that Fleming used. Along the way they discuss how many eggs Bond can eat, why Bond wasn’t born in the year of the Rat and how James Bond disliked watching From Russia With Love in the cinema.
