In his book The History of the Illustrated 007 (published in 2008) author Alan J. Porter covers all - well mostly all - the comic books of James Bond. Even though Alan is a regular guest on another James Bond podcast, On Her Majesty’s Secret Podcast, the topic of comics is strangely neglected in both his and our podcast, so it’s high time to remedy that! Don interviews Alan on the comics of Bond, how it all started with an adaption of Casino Royale into a comic strip for The Daily Express in 1958, to the very recent releases by Dynamite Comics.
