Ep204: George Washington Builds His Dream House

America's first president was a renowned military tactician, a Revolutionary War hero, and Father of the Country. Yet George Washington was also a man of surprisingly style, and the home he and wife Martha Washington created, Mount Vernon, astounded visitors and has always occupied a prominent place in the American cultural landscape. Joining me today to talk about the changing face of Mount Vernon is Curator of Fine and Decorative Arts Adam Erby. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
