Ep 10 - Parenting with ADHD: "It was not Postpartum Depression or Rage, it was undiagnosed/untreated ADHD" | The reality of having ADHD as Mums

Episode 10 is out now and is all about the realities of having ADHD when you are a Mum. Or more the realisation that it was undiagnosed/untreated ADHD that was a big reason for many many struggles we faced during early motherhood. But do not worry we make sure to bring in a TON of humor as well whilst keeping it as authentic, real, and UNFILTERED as always. We also talk about how friendships, rage, parenting techniques, emotional dysregulation and strategies as a parent as well as how to identify and handle common triggers. And most importantly we talk about SELF COMPASSION (Its in capital letters because self compassion is BIG and so so needed, especially if you are a neurodiverse mum because that is tough!!). We hope with this episode, you feel seen, heard and most importantly less alone and empowered to give yourself a lot of self compassion (and to ask for help). As always, episodes will be released on SUNDAYS and we absolutely take into consideration what you vote in our polls as well. Also if you arent following us yet - please give us a follow because it really helps us to keep going! Lots of love Cherry and Emma

Om Podcasten

Hi it’s Cherry (@cherry.adhd) and Emma (@mindovermatterwithemma)! We are both Mums with ADHD, with a healthcare and coaching background and now we jointly have a podcast all about ADHD and things related to being a parent with ADHD. This channel is there to raise awareness of ADHD and parenting with ADHD. It’s here to make you feel less alone, to help spread information, learn tools and strategies and most importantly to make you feel better by showing the ups and downs. We create a safe space and community for Neurodivergent adults and parents through our shorts and podcast episodes.
