Many AI projects struggle to reach production phase, shows Gartner survey
Less than half of AI projects make it into production, with the main obstacle being the difficulty in estimating their value, according to a survey by Gartner. The study found that it takes an average of eight months to go from AI prototype to production, and only 48% of projects succeed in reaching this stage. Among the respondents, 29% reported using GenAI as their most deployed AI solution. The survey also identified 9% of organizations as being AI-mature, with a focus on foundational capabilities such as scalable AI operating models, AI engineering, upskilling, and risk management. These capabilities were seen as vital for successful AI implementation. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/tonyphoang/message
