Cruella | Spoiler-Free + Spoiler Discussion

Cruella, a film that I hadn't given much thought to, but purchased tickets anyway, just to see Emma Stone and Cruella. Being back in a theater delivered on that premise 110% and gave me so much more to love! Here is why I think this might be one of the most entertaining films I have seen this year!  --- Cruella - "In 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, a young grifter named Estella is determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute. But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella." Starring: Emma Stone, Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, John McCrea, and Mark Strong. Directed by Craig Gillespie. --- Show Notes Leave a Review on Podchaser for a free screen pass Podchaser.com/thebasementbinge  Check out Matt Goes to the Movies wherever you get your podcasts --- SHOW LINKS Facbook.com/basementbinge Instagram @thebasementbinge or send me an email - harrison@thebasementbinge.com Help the show by leaving a review on Podchaser.com/thebasementbinge You can also follow me on Letterboxd @HARRYPerry13     Best of the Best intro music by Anthony P.
