April Graney is the author of the 2017 Christian Book Award finalist The Marvelous Mud House, a whimsical true story about finding contentment and joy based on her family's trip to Kenya. She lives at New Life Ranch in Oklahoma with her husband and five children and surprisingly loves teaching math at a local Christian school for at-risk students. She has a masters degree in biblical studies from Dallas Theological Seminary and speaks passionately about God’s heart for the world to children and parents at schools, churches, summer camps and parent/child retreats.
