This week Mike and Sarah talk with author Heather Avis about her new book Everyone Belongs. Everyone Belongs is a joyful rhyming picture book that encourages children to not only value all people but to also make room for their differences in order to make a better, brighter, and more beautiful world. A former education specialist teaching high school students, Heather is popular speaker and a mother to three adopted children (two with Down syndrome). She lives in Southern California with her husband, Josh, and their three kids Truly, August and Macy.
