Lindsey A. Freeman is a writer and sociologist interested in endurance, memory, and poetics. Her most recent book, Running, is about practice, love, queerness, and long distance running (forthcoming Duke University Press). She is now working on a book about soccer, queer joy, and how hard it is to care about things.  In this conversation we explore her handbook Running and talk about moments within it.
