Making our Lives Cozy, Convenient and Comfortable with Rosa and Kenzie of Sick Sad Girls

Hi Body Protesters! This week we speak with the founders of Sick Sad Girlz Rosa and Kenzie. They tell us about the cosy corner of the internet they’ve created with nearly 20,000 people sharing their experience of SSG life, and the importance of community and friendship. We discuss accessibility and the power of making your space as soft, safe and easy for you as humanly possible. We chat about about the freedom of conversation and openness - How healing simply naming your pain can be, and how they encourage you to tell them "where it hurts". We adore these women, and know you will too - they give us huge Big Sister Energy, and we really think everyone could do with some more of that in their lives.CW. Drug use. Om Podcasten

The Body Protest is a podcast hoping to uncover the hidden journey of the relationship you have with yourself. Exploring the individual obstacles that makes everyone’s journey of self-love complicated and occasionally treacherous, we hope to unify people with the common understanding that the struggle to love ones self, is very real. We hope to explore themes of race, toxic masculinity, eating disorders and general pressures put on us by the media and how these factors altered the journeys of individual guests. With Nadia Craddock, Body Image Researcher, and Honey Ross, plus sized writer and activist - we combine the wonderful duo of scientific facts and research with a more emotional lens, to provide a well-rounded and informative look at the very personal, and often commodified journey of self-love PRODUCED BY THE PINK PROTEST Hosted on Acast.
