Ep5. Angelyn Lim: Success, Love and Rock and Roll

Angelyn Lim is an award-winning legal strategist, committed social impact investor and 70s Rock fan. After moving to work in the social sector, she now focuses on bringing systemic change to the lives of vulnerable communities in Hong Kong. I spoke to Angelyn in Hong Kong and we had an amazing conversation about re-defining success and what it means to be a woman in International Law. This episode is not just for people who are interested in the corporate world, but for anyone who might be questioning their life path at the moment (very much me). Also this week please meet our new logo, designed by Sophie Kamlish. She's insanely talented and has created a logo that will warm the coldest of hearts, and I would definitely recommend checking out her other work too. Thank you again and again to Ally and Helena Shilson for the gawjus music. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Om Podcasten

Hello, I am Lucy Hicks Beach, and I want to find out how people of marginalised genders have shaped the people we are and the world we live in. To do this, I am talking to some of the most interesting people around about the women and non-binary people who have shaped them. Each guest picks an influential figure from one of five categories: Someone they know personally, someone they've never met, someone who is no longer alive, a childhood or teenage icon and a fictional character. Ally and Helena Shilson have composed the celestial tunes throughout!  Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
