Ep. 656 - We need to fund and build more monuments to brilliant Black leaders
Nobody in America has more monuments honoring them than white men. It's not even remotely close. In fact, HALF of the Top 50 most represented people with monuments were enslavers that literally bought, sold, and traded human beings. This is not ok. But I think a big part of the problem is that we are too often waiting on other people to imagine and build these monuments for us when the truth is we're going to have to build them ourselves.
