6 things I'm currently working on in my money mindset
In this episode, I'm going solo to share some key areas of my finances that I’m working on at the moment, as I navigate full-time self-employment. This new phase has prompted me to reconsider my money mindset, as it’s no longer just my personal finances I have to consider, it’s also my businesses. I’m unpacking how easy it is to fall into the comparison trap, and discuss what I’m doing to manage my financial behaviour - my wardrobe freeze is still going strong, and it’s led to some unexpected revelations! I also talk about a recent unexpected expense that's testing my approach to scarcity and scarcity mindsets, and learning to separate practical solutions from emotional responses. I have so many thoughts and ideas swirling around at the moment, and I’ve found it’s essential to evolve my financial mindset to align with changing circumstances. Have a listen and let me know over on Instagram if you’ve had any recent mindset changes! Episode highlights: Adapting to self-employment and shifting money beliefs, working hard doesn't always equate to making more money as when you’re self-employed, How I’m navigating financial ups and downs, highlighting the psychological toll of financial comparison and the need to find a balance between personal progress and external benchmarks, My current financial goals and challenges, such as saving for a honeymoon, upgrading our car, and managing my financial behaviour during busy periods.
