Ahimsa Meditation

In today's meditation we are focusing on the first of the Yamas or ethical codes that are at the root of the Tree of Yoga. Ahimsa means "non-violence" and whilst this has its obvious meaning, within the yogic tradition it also holds the principle of being kind to the self, loving the self, forgiving the self, nurturing the self. And so this spirit of kindness to ourselves, and then by extension to others, is our focus for the mediation today. If you are interested in finding out about the work that I do please go to my website.
