Non-Attachment Meditation

It is a truth that begins to sound like a saying - "Where our attention goes, energy flows. Where energy flows abundance grows." There must be a million memes out there that have been embellished and put out there with these words. It might sound like you've heard it a million times or it may be a new concept to you, but here in this meditation, we explore how our attachment to "stuff" and our wanting what other people have, stands in the way of us getting what we actually want and need!I am introducing a few of the Yamas and Niyamas, the underpinnings of Yogic Philosophy to help illustrate the fundamental nature of how non-attachment can help us manifest in our lives and also how to find more peace and contentment. When we direct our attention with awareness, when we can notice when we are attached, we can begin the process of letting go. It is important to believe that as we let go we are not losing anything! We are becoming lighter, more free! Our energy can then be directed more easily and our hearts desires can become reality.
