Looking inside the portfolio reveals a key to this success, 15% of his portfolio is invested in commodities. There’s an unwritten rule in the investing world and that’s when things go bad, invest in gold. Since March, Gold has soared 25% in value and recorded record highs. Commodities are a defensive play to protect a portfolio and even make returns in a volatile market.
