It's not easy to pin down the moment Professor Lee Elliot Major decided to dedicate his work to improving the prospects of disadvantaged young people. Lee is the country’s first Professor of Social Mobility, appointed by the University of Exeter, and focused on the impact and dissemination of research, working closely with schools, universities, employers and policy makers. He plays a mean guitar too!
