Did anybody do them well? More companies adopted the public cloud, since they couldn’t get into their data centers.But we also found out the public cloud isn’t infinite resources (e.g. Azure had to prioritize existing customers, healthcare customers). Long-term investments matter. Did you have a favorite video conference service in 2020?AWS: $46B, Azure: $30B-ish , GCP: $12-13B, Alibaba: $6-8B - Azure still doesn’t break out their revenues.OSS-companies are growing their Cloud/Managed business (MongoDB, Confluent, RedisLabs, Red Hat, etc. - as well as others like VMware, Nutanix)More companies are going cloud-only in their offerings (Snowflake, Tecton, Observ, etc.).
