Dr Alison Baker - Columbia Psychiatry - Preventing Tragedy

Allison S. Baker, MD is a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist specializing in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders in children and adults. As Director of The Adolescent Program at Columbia’s Eastside practice, Dr. Baker leads an intensive outpatient program for adolescents struggling with complex mood and anxiety symptoms as well as compulsive behaviors. Dr. Baker combines her passion for working with adolescents and her interest in parenting and attachment in every clinical encounter, and believes that involving an individual’s family is a critical ingredient for successful treatment. She has a special interest in dialectical behavioral therapy, substance use disorders in adolescents, and adolescents transitioning to college.
