A Visit with Sicily's Feudo Montoni
Feudo Montoni is an historic- and isolated- wine estate in central Sicily dating to 1469. Rosario Sireci purchased Feudo Montoni in the late 1800s upon discovering a wealth of ancient, pre-phylloxera vines. Third generation family member, Fabio Sireci, oversees wine production which focuses on cru-estate wines made from 100% indigenous varietals, all certified organic. His wife and partner, Melissa Muller, has embraced her Sicilian heritage as author of "SICILY: Recipes Rooted in Tradition."
