After such a fantastic response to our recent interview with Brad Bogue, in which we re-examined the sanctity of the Needs Principle, we decided to go back and highlight portions of that episode. Brad speaks of how Low Self Regulation and Social Support are critical in the change process for justice involved individuals...and human service clients in general. Are we asking too much of practitioners who abide by the Risk-Need-Responsivity model? Would it behoove us to get really good at one thing, rather than "just OK" at several tasks?
