20. A Rationalist Critique of Deconstruction: Part 3 (The Failure of the Difference Principle)

A Rationalist Critique of Deconstruction (Part 3) "The Failure of the Difference Principle" In Part 3, we will analyze and critique the Difference Principle from Structuralism through the mindsets of Rationalism and Deconstruction even further in order to see if there is such a thing as a "transcendental signified"--that is, knowledge structures (a priori logical structure of mind)-- before there is language as the creator of mind and rationality. This is a debate between rationalism and universal empiricism, and it sets the stage for what proceeded in postmodernism and Deconstruction, which resulted in a Poststructuralist environment in the Humanities.
