I had a chance to sit down with Kyle Hamilton at Rye Leawood for a great meal and great conversation. We talked culture, how restaurant leadership skills are transferable to any industry, how he could put the right person with a hotdog stand out on Johnson Drive in Mission, KS and make a million dollars (I believe him!) and a whole lot more. Kyle talks about the moment he realized he wanted to be a leader and I was lucky enough to have a front-row seat.I had the pleasure of working with Kyle at McDonald's, Chipotle and Freebirds in the Kansas City market over the last two decades. When I hired Kyle as a GM at Chipotle, he had never been a GM before.
