Weekend 9 Recap – The Schoch Factor
Stephen Schoch (@bigdonkey47), Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman (@CespedesBBQ) discuss what caught their attention in D-I baseball over the past week, starting off with a salute to Arkansas' impressive sweep of Tennessee, why Jace Bohrofen deserves more love, and how concerned they should be about the Vols moving forward. They proceed with some love for Wake Forest, in particular lefty Sean Sullivan who has been magically almost as good as Rhett Lowder so far which is just amazing to watch. Other series that stood out this past week included Kentucky/LSU, Ole/Miss/Mississippi State and Maine/Binghamton. Next, they discuss what constitutes an "excessive celebration" and the differences between the Florida celebrations and the Jared Jones homer reaction. Finally, they shout out some individual performances from Nash Bryan to Charlie Condon to Ethan Petry to Kemp Alderman's PITCHING and Nolan Schanuel's OPS crown.
