Experiencing God through Lectio Divina

Today's meditation focuses on experiencing God through the spiritual practice of Lectio Divina. Lectio Divina means “divine or sacred” reading and is a way of dialoguing with God through His Word. In this way of reading the Bible, we slow down in order to read a passage of Scripture for the purpose of spiritual transformation, rather than an information only mindset. Today's scripture Reading was taken from Isaiah 43:1-5 NLT Quote by: Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Life Together For more on Lectio Divina and other sacred spiritual practicies, we recommend Ruth Haley Barton’s book, Sacred Rhythms.  Connect with us on social media @thedailystill
