Booking Out Your Design Projects in Advance

I’m talking today about something that people ask me about often which is booking up your schedule in advance! I think the reason people ask me quite often is that for the past few years, I’ve been regularly booked up in advance from anywhere between 2 and 6 months. At the moment, as I’ll be taking some maternity leave for a few months, I’m booking projects 6 months in advance and still managing to book clients for this time and it doesn’t put people off at all. Booking in advance isn’t about looking exclusive or making people wait, the two huge benefits to having a schedule and giving clients a certain time to work with you is, first of all, your workload can be much more organised which means you don’t overload yourself with too much work and you know exactly how many projects you can take on at any time. And then secondly, having a more organised schedule of clients means you can more accurately plan your income and it can also make it much more consistent for you - and isn’t that just a dream for some who is self-employed!I hope you enjoy today’s podcast and head to the links below to connect with The Daring Designers Club more: Join the Facebook Group!
