246. Isoxazolines

Isoxazolines are anti-parasitics that inhibit chloride channels in the nervous systems of invertebrates. This paralyzes and kills parasites by blocking the transmission of neuronal signals. Isoxazolines are more selective to fleas, ticks, and mites than to mammals, including humans, dogs and cats. It has been a game changer for our flea allergic pets and treating mange cases.
