Not only is it good news to appoint someone from outside the state, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up under a consent decree. Kari Morrisey filed a fifty-two page motion to reconsider Alec Baldwin's dismissal with prejudice on a request to exceed the page limit. The Judge denied the state's motion for extension of page limits and cited case law that talks about deterring frivolous filings.
