David Arnold and Michael Giacchino Interview Special
Whether it's punching the air to You Know My Name from Casino Royale, or sniffing along to Married Life from Up, chances are you've been emotionally affected at some point in your life by the film music of David Arnold and Michael Giacchino. The two brilliant composers are also good friends in real life, and are putting that friendship to the test with a new show at the Royal Albert Hall called Settling The Score. Think of it as a rap battle, only with massive orchestras and a little fella waving a baton. Arnold and Giacchino, in town this week to prepare for the show, took time out to come to the Empire Podbooth, and in this interview special, sit down for a one-hour chat with Chris Hewitt that is hilarious, insightful, and even occasionally manages to touch on their music, from Bond to working with Pixar and Marvel.
