TELP#004: Prof. Dr. Dirk Buschle, Energy Community Secretariat, Legal Counsel & Deputy Director

In today's episode, I am thrilled to interview Prof. Dr. Dirk Buschle, Legal Counsel & Deputy Director at the Energy Community Secretariat. We will explore key insights of his work at an international organisation expanding the acquis communautaire of EU energy law as a legally binding framework to third countries. The Energy Community brings together the European Union and its neighbours, the so-called Contracting Parties. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine. Without further ado, let's move on to our discussion about energy law. I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did.The interview took place on 20 November 2023.Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT): https://www.tilburguniversity.edu/about/schools/law/departments/tiltMax Baumgart: https://www.tilburguniversity.edu/staff/m-baumgartLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/maxbaumgart/This first season of “The Energy Law Podcast” was made possible with funds of the Dutch Starter Grant program, awarded by Tilburg University for Max Baumgart`s project “Transformation processes in European and national economic law: Energy law as law of socio-technical change”.
