Guled Ahmed is the CEO and Founder of Power Off-Grid and Jiko Bio-Gas, both operating in Somalia. He has gotten recognition over the years for his innovative approach towards rural electrification in Somalia, some of his patent solutions include trading Goats for solar home systems... yes, Goats. In this episode, we discuss a lot about the operations of his companies and also dive into how global climate and energy policies sometimes negatively affect developing/low-income countries.
