Vanessa Nakate: African Voices In The Climate Movement

Vanessa Nakate, a youth climate activist from Uganda, joins the conversation this week to share her experiences while raising awareness for climate change in her local community and representing Africa at international conferences.  Recently she was involved in a major incident at Davos 2020, an event that included misrepresentation by the media and a lack of attention for African voices in the climate movement. _ Learn more about Vanessa and her work Twitter: @vanessa_vash _ Music by Jensen Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jensen_chuah/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/jensen_chuah SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/jensenneedsfriends YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtHFEpuTjAVekbI1xz
